Bra as gas mask
The Ig Nobel Prizes are always given out before the Nobel Prizes, where the former is organized by the Improbable Research who means to introduce laughter while making people think at the same time. Part of this year’s Ig includes a bra which can be turned into a pair of gas masks during an emergency – one for the bra’s owner and the other for a nearby bystander. Inventor Dr. Elena Bodnar picked up the Public Health prize for the device, and managed to demonstrate it on a couple of actual Nobel laureates.
